Day 52: Late arrival in Cremona
Cycling today was uneventful (which is not a bad thing at all ;). The cycling paths were worse than yesterday, but still ok for most parts. Two or three times I decided to leave the path and just cycle on the road, since there is not so much traffic on Sundays anyways. Cremona is supposed to be worth a visit but since I only arrived a few minutes before sunset I haven't seen a lot and will take a look at the city tomorrow morning.
Some impressions from today:

I thought I had a pretty low vehicle. I wonder who can pass under this bridge... |

... and one of the worst. |
And the description of the Col de Tende is not great either. "Possible" to cross was not the word I was looking for ;) Currently I'm favouring the Col de l'Echelle. So I'll probably leave the EuroVelo 8 for some time after Turin and you'll get some pictures of the alps after all.
This night (and probably tomorrow as well) there is going to be some heavy rain and thunderstoms. I'm happy that I'll spend the night in a dry place. Afterwards the temperatures will be a lot lower :) So perhaps today was my last day of this tour cycling in more than 30° :)
Also from today on I am west of Lüneburg. Before this the whole tour was in the east.
