Day 39: It's hot again

The night was not very refreshing. It was to hot, one of the neighbors played a shooting game until late in the night and another one had a loud AC running for the whole night. Also the ground was gravel and I felt some of the bigger stones when moving in my tent.

Motivation was hard to find and the costal street was very busy. So I tried the road along the beach (which is the eurovelo 8 at this point). At first I could only cycle very slowly because of pedestrians and then the road ended and the path then looked like this:

So I had to cycle back and climb to the costal road again. Peak happiness. But as I found out part of my bad mood was not because of the roads and lack of sleep, but also because lack of water. After adding 2l of water and some food I felt a lot better and ready to climb the remaining ascends.
When I got to Split I had some problems following the cycling path to the center of the city (no idea, were it went. I lost the signs and then decided to just use my map). After overcoming these obstacles it was quite nice:

A bit crowded, but that is the case for everthing in Croatia currently.
After that I tried to make some more distance (and was stopped by the police once more. But this time it was a friendly encounter and "People called us" sounded more like they had to do the check after someone complained about some unknown vehicle) and ended my tour on a huge camp site near Trogir.
